Appropriately, the story of a no-holds-barred demolition derby between combatants in heavily weaponized vehicles, all vying to be granted a reality-warping wish from the mysterious game-master Calypso, will be told by a group familiar with blending action, the supernatural, and general batshit: Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance producers Avi and Ari Arad have hired that film’s co-director, Brian Taylor, to co-write and helm the live-action adaptation, making this Taylor’s first solo directing job away from his Crank collaborator Mark Neveldine.
