A.V. Undercover starts tomorrow, and here’s the song list
The fifth year of A.V. Undercover starts tomorrow—can you believe our baby is 5 already?—and the list of songs, many chosen by you, is below. Some of you have vociferously noted that we’re launching a little later than usual this year, which is true. Here are some other changes: We built some new side walls to make the studio look a little more enclosed, and Jay Ryan—who did the painting on the back wall—also did those up beautifully for us, with a big-ass mammoth and a dinosaur. Also, there will be 30 songs this year instead of 25, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be doing a summer series. (Would it be possible to top The Melvins being bombarded by children in front of the Jeni’s Ice Cream truck? No, it would not.) Anyway: Melvins below, followed by the list. See you tomorrow, and every Tuesday thereafter until we’re done. (Pictured above: Mac DeMarco, who played Weezer for us last year, and who’s playing A.V. Fest this year.)
