ABC heads to Hulu. Huzzah!
ABC's parent company, Disney, has struck a deal with Hulu.com. It has purchased 30 percent of the online video stockhouse, which currently screens episodes of NBC and Fox TV shows (and their affiliates). It will take some time for ABC shows to become available, though a press release says that Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Greek, and General Hospital are right around the corner.
Hulu is a great site—its clips are not only easy to view, but also easy to embed. Plus, the site's "Lower lights" feature is brilliant in its simplicity (it dims everything on the screen except the video itself). With this deal, the Internet is one step closer to total television domination. One site to rule them all!
