Well-staged and creatively designed, the pictures present a love letter to the more prosaic parts of Clark and Lois’ superpowered life, hanging out with neighbors, laughing with their friends, and helping out with the “Big Heroes/Big Heroines” program. Neumann even managed to find a legitimately heartwarming ending for the series, positing the entire thing as a trip back through the photo albums by an older Mr. and Mrs. S.
