The action star, decorated bodybuilder, and former Governor of California is releasing another motivational book.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's been writing about growth mindsets

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s next book is on the way. On Monday, the Terminator star announced via his newsletter, Pump Club, that he’s releasing a new book with Penguin Press titled Better Every Day: An Action Plan for a Full Life.

Schwarzenegger’s branding has always centered on bodybuilding and action movies, so it’s no surprise that fitness remains a key part of his empire. But reframing his philosophy as a broader blueprint for self-help might expand his appeal beyond aspiring bodybuilders and gym rats. His next book is described as “a candid and practical guide to building a flywheel for endless growth and deepening purpose.”

Per the press release, Schwarzenegger’s latest goal “is to help people achieve a growth mindset, restore their sense of balance, and flourish with specific weekly actions. Arnold shares what he has learned throughout his life about the path of continual improvement so that everyone can be Better Every Day. If Be Useful was the Arnold philosophy textbook, Better Every Day is the Arnold workbook.”

“When I say action plan, I mean it,” Schwarzenegger captioned an Instagram post about his upcoming book. “Be Useful is my philosophy; Better Every Day is how you put it into practice. This book is a playbook, filled with stories from my life, always connected to weekly actions you can add to your life immediately.”

Better Every Day is 288 pages and will be released on January 12, 2027, just in time for people turning to the Terminator himself for motivation as they work toward their New Year’s goals.
