Here we are in the last days of 2025, one of the longest years on record, judging by the levels of burnout. But we have something to lift your spirits as the solstice approaches: The long-awaited premiere of A.V. Undercoverseason 10. Chicago power pop outfit OK Go kicks things off with their cover of The La’s “There She Goes,” off the English rock band’s only album.
OK Go marked a separate return earlier this year with And The Adjacent Possible, their first studio album in 11 years. We caught up with the band in May while they were touring behind the album at Ilegal Mezcal in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where they delivered a rousing rendition of this sweet pop tune. OK Go previously appeared on Undercover season five, when they took on Squeeze’s “Tempted.”
We know, it’s been roughly 87 years (or seven months) since we first announced the song list for this landmark season, which is made up of returning Undercover artists. We regret the delay, but the logistical hurdles (lack of a home base, etc.) just kept presenting themselves. We will be sharing the second installment in this 10-cover season on Monday, December 22, so be on the lookout for that. We’ll then post new Undercover videos on January 8 and January 15.
