Let’s travel back to 2016 for a second. That was the year Mark Wahlberg’s Boston Marathon bombing movie Patriot’s Day came out, and people still questioned whether it was too soon. The bombing happened three years prior, in 2013. That reaction seems quaint by today’s standards. Case in point: The Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni case is already on documentary number two. Yes, two. If you were wondering how the hell you missed hundreds of headlines about the inescapable trial‘s verdict, don’t worry—you’re not losing it. It hasn’t even started yet.

That fact didn’t stop ITN Productions from creating the 90-minute doc He Said, She Said: Blake Lively Vs. Justin Baldoni earlier this month, and it isn’t stopping Optomen from producing Baldoni Vs Lively: A Hollywood Feud now. The docuseries is being produced for Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland and will premiere sometime this June on Discovery+, per The Hollywood Reporter

The series will explore the “lead-up” to the It Ends With Us stars’ dueling lawsuits, THR reports, because, again, they haven’t actually happened yet. Currently, hearings aren’t scheduled to begin until March 2026, although a judge previously threatened to move the date up if the actors’ lawyers didn’t stop swiping at each other in the press.

News of the Baldoni Vs. Lively came as part of a wider announcement for future scripted and unscripted WBD series. “We’re excited to announce over 50 hours of content, both bringing back and building on some of our well-loved formats, like ‘vs’, and introducing new talent and new ideas to our platforms,” Charlotte Reid, VP of commissioning, said in a statement on Monday, per THR. This writer isn’t sure “new” is really the word for a feud that’s already received so much undue attention, but “content” feels appropriate.
