Ever wanted to look like Iron Man combined with Batman, but lack the Bruce Wayne (or Tony Stark) budget to do so? Cinefix’s Homemade Movies has got you covered. In their latest video, hosts Ben and Bianca show off how to construct a Batman mech suit like the one seen in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice (that title is exhausting). Using cardboard, some templates, tupperware, and other household items, viewers can make their own Batmech suits to challenge their favorite homemade Supermen at various comic conventions, costume parties, and the occasional bar mitzvah.
It’s a simple (albeit time-consuming) process that requires the use of the handy Batmech armor templates Cinefix posted on Facebook, some spray paint, gaff tape, and a lot of patience. But in the end, the cardboard and plastic suit looks very much like the movie version without having to resort to supervillainy and weirdly themed bank heists.
