There’s also peculiar quirks unique to the mushroom house, like something that looks like a chimney pretending to be a potbellied stove or a kiln, and a strange pine that appears to be growing inside and sadly decorated like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree, as seen in the realtor’s post. There’s also a domed roof, hand-worked wrought iron, rustic wooden cabinetry, and a pleasingly curved staircase. All in all, there’s a lot of potential for a person with hobbit leanings and $349,000 to spare. Plus, it’s in a really good part of Wisconsin—Sturgeon Bay is a popular vacation spot within scenic Door County, perched on the western side of Lake Michigan.
