The first trailer for Atomic Blonde looks like if The Americans and John Wick had a baby and James Bond was its godparent—which is to say, sign us up. The Wick DNA is probably the most prevalent and that’s because David Leitch, who co-directed the first installment of the Keanu assassin franchise, helms this action flick set at the end of the Cold War starring Charlize Theron as an MI6 spy. This first glimpse of footage promises long, well-choreographed fight scenes bathed in neon and set to ’70s and ’80s classics. Theron’s British accent is just about the only thing that’s underwhelming. Atomic Blonde, which is based on the graphic novel The Coldest City, opens July 28.
