Chris Hardwick will return to Talking Dead in August
In June, AMC pulled Chris Hardwick’s Talking Dead from its schedule in response to claims from his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra that he had emotionally and sexually abused her when they were in a relationship. Yvette Nicole Brown was recently named as a temporary replacement host, but now AMC has announced that it has cleared Hardwick to return to Talking Dead and his non-Walking Dead show Talking With Chris Hardwick. This comes from Deadline, which says AMC conducted a “comprehensive assessment” into the allegations against Hardwick, including “interviews with numerous individuals.” Having completed the investigation, AMC has decided that putting him back on the air is “the appropriate step.”
Hardwick will return to Talking Dead on August 12, along with the mid-season premiere of Fear The Walking Dead. The second season of Talking With Chris Hardwick has already been filmed, but some scheduling issue is keeping AMC from giving it a firm return date.
