Man who thinks he's more popular than Lincoln says Chuck Lorre needs psychiatric help

In accordance with the MAGA mandate that anyone expressing the slightest disapproval of anything the current administration does suffers from the mythical “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” TheWrap reports how a White House spokesperson on Fox News declared sitcom guru Chuck Lorre, well, deranged. Lorre, accepting his Angel Award from charitable organization Project Angel Food on September 26, spent his time lambasting both Trump and his First Lady, causing administration figure David Ingle to be dutifully dispatched to the right-wing complain-o-sphere. There, he referred to Lorre’s “peanut-sized brain” while suggesting the prolific producer seek “psychiatric help.”

What did the famously outspoken Lorre say to get the Trump camp so riled up? Maybe it was his opener about wishing he had more time to call for positivity and change in America instead of addressing the “bloated orange piece of shit” currently running things. Or perhaps it was Lorre once more apologizing for not spotlighting the good work done by Project Angel Food in favor of explaining “how I wake up every morning to turn on CNN to see if the president of the United States had a heart attack while straining to take a dump.” If not that, then perchance it was Lorre’s assessment of Melania Trump as ” a surgically enhanced, cold-hearted Yugoslavian escort who clearly hates her husband.”

Now, Lorre is no stranger to running his mouth (or dealing with hair-trigger narcissists), sometimes to the detriment of his professional relationships. (And there’s an undercurrent of misogyny in his remarks the Stuart Fails To Save The Universe creator might have taken a second pass at.) But then again, Donald Trump—horrific policies aside—is the guy who claims he’s more popular than Abraham Lincoln, thinks windmills cause cancer, praises murderous dictators as nice guys, and views the human body like a 9-volt battery with only so much juice in it, so it’s not like his administration has authority to judge anyone else’s mental fitness.
