Daisy Ridley takes a break from Star Wars to star in Holocaust drama
When someone stars in a big movie like Star Wars, it’s important that they take on some non-Star Wars roles as soon as possible to prove that there’s more to their acting talent than shooting blasters and yelling at droids. This is especially true for Daisy Ridley, who made Rey one of the most likable characters in The Force Awakens, but could easily get to a point where people only see her as Rey if she isn’t careful. Luckily for Ridley, then, she’s currently attached to star in a Holocaust drama that sounds about as far from The Force Awakens as you can get—if you ignore the Nazi imagery that Star Wars villains love so much, of course.
