Despite this fake teaser poster, a Spaceballs sequel probably isn’t happening
A very creative, albeit kind of cruel, person has apparently taken it upon themselves to get the world’s hopes up for a prospective sequel to Mel Brooks’ 1987 space opera spoof Spaceballs. Jedi News tweeted a photo of posters for the ostensible Spaceballs: The Search For More Money tantalizingly displayed somewhere in the New York City subway system.
If you’re a fan of Brooks’ very silly and much beloved parody of Star Wars, Star Trek and most other science fiction touchstones, then you probably recognize that title from this exchange from the end of the movie:
