Disney and Deadmau5 have settled their head-related legal battle
After almost a year of one side dropping rad beats and the other loudly spelling out M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E, Disney and Deadmau5 have settled their legal dispute over the shape of Deadmau5’s head. Last September, the masked DJ tried to trademark the shape of his head for use on—among other things—”BMX bikes,” but Disney stopped him on the grounds that his head is pretty clearly a reference to Mickey Mouse. Now, The Hollywood Reporter says that both sides have come to some kind of agreement, and Disney will most likely be withdrawing its arguments against Deadmau5’s trademark registration.
