Rolling Stone reports that the artist otherwise known as Aubrey Graham has officially broken the record for having the most Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 songs in a single year. In 1964, The Beatles scored 11 hits, including “A Hard Day’s Night” and “Can’t Buy Me Love.” Drake’s had 12 this year, with his guest spot on Bad Bunny’s “MIA” sending him over the top. Earlier this year, he broke another huge record by usurping Usher as the artist to spend the most time with a number one song in a single year.
In total, Drake’s now held 32 Top 10 songs, The Guardian notes, which is only two behind The Beatles’ lifelong tally of 34 and six behind Madonna’s record-holding 38.
Does Drizzy got seven more hits in him? Probably, but another death shot from Pusha T could very well change that trajectory. He’s a marked man these days.
