Brooklyn-based rockers Fort Lean are releasing a new EP, Change Your Name, on Nov. 13 via digital download. The EP was produced by Patrick Wimberly of Chairlift and mixed by Michael Brauer, best known for his work with The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, My Morning Jacket, and Wilco.
With "The Mall," Fort Lean departs from the jangly lo-fi vibes of its previous releases to a crisp, production-fueled arena rock sound. Frontman Keenan Mitchell's powerful voice carries a catchy tune that is full of hand claps, guitar solos, and omnipresent "oohs" from the backing vocalists.
