Gather 'round the campfire for a new track from Los Angeles cowboy band Spindrift
Los Angeles Western band Spindrift doesn’t release out its new album, Ghost Of The West, Oct. 22 on Tee Pee, but The A.V. Club has the premiere of one of the tracks today, a whole week early. The band covers a number of classic cowboy campfire songs, but the track below, “The Matador And The Fuzz,” is one of its originals. It’s equal parts Calexico and Tarantino, and definitely well worth a haunting listen.
The band is playing a number of upcoming dates on its Ghosts Of The West US tour, and those are all listed below.
