Here’s what’s coming to (and leaving from) HBO Now in September
HBO Now has just announced its comings and goings for September, which, unfortunately, do not include any real substitute for Game Of Thrones. But the month of back-to-school specials will at least kick off with a couple of comedy specials (including one from Dane Cook, sorry), as well as the premiere of High Maintenance. Well, actually, it looks like you’ll have to deal with the cached bowl that is the original 19 webisodes of the series before lighting up whole new episodes on September 16. HBO Now will also see the day-after broadcast of HBO Latino’s Habla Y Vota, a series centered on discussing voting issues for Latinx communities.
The arrival of the harvest month also means that viewers can reap the bounties of the season finales of Ballers, Vice Principals, and Sr. Avila. Unfortunately, the scythe will be cruelly turned on Roadhouse, Super Troopers, Remember The Titans, and both Magic Mike movies (YOU MONSTERS), which will all depart before September’s over. The complete lists are posted below, so get crackin’.
