Here’s what’s coming to the Starz app in October
Starz had a pretty big September, thanks to Star Wars: The Force Awakens making its premium cable debut, and now the network has announced the new films and TV shows that will be coming to the Starz app in October. There’s nothing quite as huge as The Force Awakens, but really the only way Starz could’ve followed that up is if it somehow started streaming an early copy of Star Wars: Episode VIII. To keep Starz from getting in trouble, though, it would have to list the movie under a fake name (like Busytown Mysteries, just to pull out a totally random example). Of course, that’s not really happening, and there is no secret Star Wars sequel coming to Starz in October, but there is plenty of good stuff to make up for that.
Starting in October, anyone with a Starz subscription will be able to watch Kindergarten Cop, A League Of Their Own, Mallrats, Dazed And Confused, and Patton, among a whole bunch of other things. October will also see the season premieres of Ash Vs. Evil Dead and Blunt Talk, both of which will also be streamable on the Starz app. Later in the month you’ll get Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, Devil, and a good amount of other horror movies, just in case you like to celebrate October by getting scared.
