When writing up these round-ups of what’s coming to (and going from) streaming services in a given month, we used to go to excessive lengths to come up with a “theme” for each month, operating under the joke premise that, say, Hulu had purposefully chosen all of the things coming and going to fit that theme. Well, for February of 2020, Hulu sort of did adhere to a loose Valentine’s Day theme, and we couldn’t be happier. The big addition is Hulu’s High Fidelity TV show with Zoë Kravitz, which is all about love, lost love, and the ghost of Bruce Springsteen (he was in the movie, but we don’t know if he’s in the show). There’s also an installment of Hulu’s Into The Dark horror anthology about love songs, the premiere of a Hulu Original called Utopia Falls about future-teens at a performing arts competition (so you know they’re hookin’ up), and the new season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, which is all about women who really love and support their friends (more or less).
Originals aside, Hulu subscribers will be able to check out 300, the Bridget Jones movies, an array of National Lampoon movies, Say Anything, Disaster Movie, 28 Days Later, 28 Hotel Rooms, Super 8, and a handful of things that don’t have an eight in the title. Also, this will be your last chance to see Cube 2: Hypercube, Dennis The Menace, Ouija Séance: The Final Game, Ouija House, and Road House. Also Road House 2: Hyperhouse—The Final Game.
