Ah, March. Who doesn’t love March? There are so many worthwhile things to say about March that we could go on and on for hours, but let’s just talk about the new things that subscribers will be able to stream on Hulu in March. That’ll be much more interesting than reading a rambling paragraph in which we try to come up with something, anything, to say about the third month of the year. Saint Patrick’s Day is in March, right? There, we thought of something.
Hulu, which is green like St. Patrick’s Day, is getting some reasonably respectable content next month. There’ll be a new installment of Hulu’s Into The Dark horror anthology, with this one called Treehouse and centering on a celebrity chef plagued by some spooky tabloid drama, as well as the premiere of the Aidy Bryant-starring original series Shrill. Subscribers will also get the premiere of The Act, another seasonal anthology like Into The Dark that focuses on—as a press release puts it—”stranger-than-fiction true crime stories.” Plus, though it’s not a Hulu original, the streaming service is getting Oscar-winning rock climber documentary Free Solo.
If that stuff isn’t exciting enough, Hulu is also getting W., a movie called Vice that is not the movie called Vice, Waterworld, multiple Ouija movies that just came out last year, the CG Astro Boy, Office Space, the old Jumanji, Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight. Some of it’s good, but all of it is at least interesting. Unfortunately, this will also be subscribers’ last chance to check out Finding Neverland (weird timing on that one), Mortal Kombat, Friday Night Lights (the movie), and a bunch of Stephen King adaptations.
