If your New Year’s resolution is to watch more TV (and with so many killer shows why shouldn’t it be?), Netflix has you covered in January. The streamer just shared its list of new titles and there’s something for just about everyone, provided you’re into serial killers, superheroes, or Indiana Jones.
Or maybe you’re into goodbyes? Both Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and A Series Of Unfortunate Events will air their final seasons next month. Luckily, there’s plenty to binge once you’ve polished them off, whether it be the acclaimed American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace (Darren Criss is a star, y’all) or the second season of Marvel’s The Punisher, which will arrive on a heretofore undisclosed date.
To speak of Marvel, however, is to speak of Disney and the encroaching Disney+ streaming service that will soon strip Netflix of some of its biggest titles. Since it still looms in the distance, however, the Mouse House is, for a time at least, sharing some titles, including 2018's Ant-Man and the Wasp, Incredibles 2, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Rounding out the lineup is a slew of new documentaries, including one about serial killer Ted Bundy, another about the ill-fated Fyre Festival, and yet another about rapper Killer Mike, who will “explore socially relevant topics” with “a team of funny correspondents” on Trigger Warning With Killer Mike.
