Only Murders In The Building's trio (and their fabulous coats) head to the U.K. in season 6 first look
Hulu's comedy sends the investigation in a whole other direction this December: The cold streets of London.

You just know the Only Murders In The Building trio is in London during season six because Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin), and Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) are busy sipping tea while sleuthing in the first-look images released today. The series arrives just in time for the holidays, with Hulu announcing a release date along with some new photos.
A December premiere is decidedly different from Only Murders‘ previous seasons; the show has been a summer staple for the streamer. However, it’s clearly aiming to become a British wintertime murder mystery this time around.
In season six—which we will not be calling Only Murders In London in any case—Mabel, Charles, and Oliver embark on a difficult case: Figuring out who killed Cinda Canning (Tina Fey), a.k.a. the podcast host who brought them together in the first place. The trio leaves their beloved Arconia and heads to London, hoping to investigate the case that led Cinda to her own death.
OMITB is known for an increasingly glitzy guest cast, but season six reaches a peak with its list of actors set to appear, ranging from Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, and Peter Capaldi to Nicola Coughlan, Simone Ashley, and Jim Broadbent, among many others. In a recent interview with Vulture, series co-creator John Hoffman even alluded to how the U.K.’s Queen Camilla was almost going to make an appearance.
