Jon Stewart tries to get clarification on Iran from 5 Donald Trumps

Have we already won in Iran or is there still a long way to go? Is the news media talking about it too much or not enough? What are the United States’ goals, and what is the status of its allies? Is this even really a war? All of these are questions Jon Stewart would like some clarification on, returning to the topic of a new war in the Middle East after bringing it up earlier in March (and about 23 years ago). After failing to get much clarification from “Secretary of War” Pete Hegseth’s interview clips, Stewart decides to convene a panel from the man himself, five Donald Trumps.

Actually, Stewart convenes President Trump, Donald J. Trump, DJT, and John Barron to discuss the administration’s goals in strategy in Iran. Do you think that went well, or do you think the Trumps contradicted themselves further? President Trump and Donald J. Trump both decline to label it a “war,” calling it “an excursion,” only for John Barron to claim “We’re winning the war by a lot.” He’s eventually joined on the phone by a fifth Trump—Donnie On The Phone From Palm Beach—who says we’ll know the war is over “when I feel it, when I feel it in my bones.” Helpful!

The Daily Show host introduces some criticism: “Our president will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate.” That, of course, comes from “The author of The Art Of The Deal” (and from the looks of him in the clip, comes from Barack Obama’s presidency). Whoever’s saying that, Stewart “can’t disagree.”
