The wait for Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter's Waiting For Godot is almost over

The play, which originally premiered in 1953, follows two men, Vladimir (Winter) and Estragon (Reeves), who spend its entire runtime doing exactly as the title says. (Spoiler: the guy never shows up.) 

While Bill & Ted Wait For Godot may seem like a pretty goofy idea on paper, director Jamie Lloyd told The New York Times that “it was a no-brainer that this needed to be done” last summer when the production was announced. “[Winter and Reeves’] instant chemistry and their shorthand and their friendship is going to be so valuable,” Lloyd, who also directed Jessica Chastain in A Doll’s House and Nicole Scherzinger in Sunset Boulevard, continued. “This is a very deeply complex play, as we all know, but it’s also a very funny play, and they’re very witty people and their shared sense of humor in those movies and in real life is going to be very beneficial to the production.”

The strictly limited engagement will end January 4, 2026, so make sure you get your tickets before the only way to experience it is by time machine.
