As part of his overall deal with Fox to just be awesome even if you crybaby pussies can’t handle it, Sons Of Anarchy’s Kurt Sutter has partnered with Hell On Wheels showrunner and fellow wheel enthusiast John Shiban to develop a new FX series. According to the press release, it’s called Lucas Stand, it’s a “dark action/horror drama,” and it boasts the sort of supernatural elements and guys-kicking-the-supernatural’s-ass elements that make for a successful modern series. The story concerns a “damaged former special ops soldier” (presumably his “damage” is primarily psychological) “who has been chosen to traverse time and place to hunt down and kill Hell's law-breaking demons,” as even Hell must have some accountability. “It’s Timecop meets Little Nicky!” no one probably said, until now.
