Littler announces new EP, streams “Running Hot”

When The A.V. Club last heard from Littler, the band was supporting its debut album Of Wandering. Since then, the band’s gone back in the studio and prepped a new EP that’s coming out in April on a collection of labels: Disposable America and Yellow K are handling the 7-inch, while Disposable America is partnering with Anxiety Pop for the tape. The A.V. Club is premiering “Running Hot,” the first track from Littler’s upcoming Bad Hand EP. The song builds on the band’s punchy pop songs, but has these swirling washes of guitar that hint at a nascent interest in dream-pop. “Running Hot” shows Littler has come a long way from forming as a one-off project into a band that’s exploring new sounds with each new release.

Bad Hand is out April 28 and available for pre-order now.
