As reported by Rolling Stone, Madonna has announced a tour of “intimate theater venues” in support of her new album Madame X later this year, but it shouldn’t be too surprising that Madonna’s definition of an intimate venue doesn’t really line up with everyone else’s. In other words, she’s playing a lot of venues with names that refer to them as “opera houses” or “colosseums,” and all in huge major cities over multiple nights. So, maybe thousands of people won’t be at every show, but thousands of people might get to see Madonna over the course of a week so it really evens out. The full list of dates hasn’t been confirmed yet, which is odd, but we do know that Madonna will be spending a lot of time in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles in September. Rolling Stone says she’ll be stopping in Las Vegas, Boston, Philadelphia, and Miami Beach (which is mostly where those opera houses and colosseums come in), but we’ll have to wait on dates for those.

Here’s the full list of confirmed dates, all written out like crazy because they’re staggered (everyone needs a bunch of days off, even Madonna).
