Massive Attack, Pussy Riot, and more pressing new music to X-ray film
Attention, vinyl collectors! A new, unique series of pressings were just announced that will make a great, albeit macabre addition to any record collection. As Pitchfork reports, “The Library Of Dangerous Thoughts” is a new, limited series initiated by the charity group the University Of The Underground in partnership with Collecteurs and with records produced by the Bureau Of Lost Culture that features unreleased tracks from an exciting batch of artists pressed onto X-ray film. Over the next month, users can bid on these one-of-a-kind recordings from an eclectic group of artists that includes Massive Attack, Jónsi of Sigur Rós, Pussy Riot, and everyone’s favorite singer, Noam Chomsky.
