Michael Jackson debuts new video from beyond the grave
Michael Jackson lives on—not only in our hearts, but more importantly in things you can buy, such as the upcoming, posthumously released Michael. Here’s the first video from the album that 50 Cent has already promised will boast “the ‘Thriller’ of 2010,” an Akon-heavy duet called “Hold My Hand” that is sort of the "You Are Not Alone" of 2010, we guess. The song starts off with the suddenly very meaningful opening line “This life don’t last forever,” followed by even-more-meaningful shots of tearful fans, an empty, solitary white sequined glove, and, um, naked babies being stroked, all intercut with vintage Jackson performance footage that allows Jackson to live again, both as the dancing wunderkind he once was and also symbolically, as balloons on their way up to heaven and little girls dressed as an angels.
