Should you be concerned that Christopher Nolan’s final installment in his Batman trilogy would be missing Nestor Carbonell’s mayor character, rest assured that it will not: The actor best known for his role as the immutable Richard on Lost and the many, many interviews where he denies wearing eyeliner is in talks to reprise his role as Gotham City’s highest-ranking municipal officer, and no doubt to spark even more “Is the mayor wearing eyeliner?” stories, because seriously, the guy looks like he's wearing eyeliner. No word on whether they’ll actually let him use the name “Anthony Garcia” this time or if he’ll still just be credited as “The Mayor.” Anyway, we are officially getting down to the last dregs of The Dark Knight Rises casting reports, methinks.
