Netflix is just, like, super into anime right now, acquires a new Ghost In The Shell series
Mimicking the natural life path of those high school freshman you always see camped out in the manga section of the bookstore, ducking exhausted Borders employees so that they can get their fill of Fruits Basket or Card Captor Sakura, Netflix has apparently decided that it’s just super into anime right now. Fresh off of its decision to acquire the entirety of classic Japanese animation series Neon Genesis Evangelion—and put into production a live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop—the streaming service has now announced that it’s adding a brand new iteration of Ghost In The Shell to its roster, too.
