September’s news that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were divorcing after 19 years of marriage was one of the more genuinely shocking celebrity breakups of 2025. Did he cheat? Did he want to cheat? Did he suffer a MAGA-induced aneurysm? We don’t really know. What we do know is that Nicole continues to be very, very good at thriving after a divorce.
She debuted a stunning set of revenge bangs in October, appeared on the cover of Vogue‘s November issue, and put on a show on the runway at Vogue World 2025, in which she strutted like a woman who had finally rid herself of a man who plays guitar.
For the holidays, she traveled home to Australia with her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, in which the paparrazi captured her wearing her natural curls—a universally recognized symbol of inner peace and emotional closure.
“Nicole and the girls are in Australia for Christmas. This is all she wanted after a tumultuous fall,” a source told People. “She just wanted to celebrate Christmas at home. She’s very excited.” Translation: Keith is trash and she is free.
