Netflix can’t stop announcing things people want this weekend, such as Frankensteins, Squid Games, and Stranger Things. But what of the things nobody wants, like rom-com shows starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell? Ironically, the streamer is covering that too. Announced amid the deluge of TUDUM news blasting forth from the big N’s publicity department, Nobody Wants This returns on October 23, 2025, despite nobody wanting it.

The announcement came via Magic 8 Ball, operated by series star Adam Brody and preloaded with matzoh ball references and recommendations to call your mother and/or rabbi. In a video message from the stars for Netflix’s FYSEE LA Emmy Event to celebrate season one, the show’s stars, including Brody, Bell, Timothy Simons, Justine Lupe, and Jack Tohn, announced the new season’s release date while teasing another “iconic kiss” and Matzoh Ballers making the playoffs. Surely, this is all something nobody wants, but regardless, check out the video below and prepare for more situational romantic comedy this fall on Netflix.

TUDUM! The algorithm has spoken. Viewing enjoyment is required.
