Now Jack White is countersuing Karen Elson

Jack White is striking back against ex-wife Karen Elson. Last week Elson was granted a restraining order after she claimed that White harassed her and is an unfit father. White filed a motion shortly thereafter to contest the charges against him. Rolling Stone has obtained the court documents, which state that White is filing because he “does not want to be portrayed as something he is not, violent toward his wife and children.”

The filing includes several e-mails White received from Elson, including one from May in which she called him an “amazing father.” It also cites the fact that the day after she signed the restraining order and ordered White to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, Elson left the couple’s children, Scarlett and Henry, with White for 10 days while she took a trip to New York.

To make things even juicier, White also claims that Elson told Dean Fertita, a Dead Weather bandmate, that she is “completely in love with Jack and I'd move back in tomorrow if he asked me.”
