Now there’s a documentary about Sarah Jones, the crew member killed on the set of Midnight Rider
Hollywood history was made recently when a judge sentenced director Randall Miller to two years in prison for the on-set death of second camera assistant Sarah Jones during the filming of indie drama Midnight Rider last year in Wayne County, Georgia. The needless death became a galvanizing spur to address the question of on-set safety, and prompted the launch of Safety For Sarah, an organization committed to film production safety. Now, Deadline reports that a documentary is in the works about the life, death, and subsequent impact of Sarah Jones on American filmmaking.
