Oh good, Alec Baldwin will return to SNL as Donald Trump

Alec Baldwin and Lorne Michaels both teased that the former would return to play Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live’s upcoming 44th season, which will presumably be every bit as filled with furrowed brows and “ew, I just ate something yucky” faces as its last.
“I have fun doing it, there’s no doubt about that,” Baldwin said of SNL’s Trump sketches. “But for me, I think I’m going to do some of it, but not a whole lot… Because I also think, and this is critical, there is a lot of fatigue here.” No shit.
Both spoke about the impression on Origins, James Andrew Miller’s podcast in which he “uncovers bold beginnings of success stories in the worlds of television, movies, sports, music, and business.” The episode also featured conversations with Kenan Thompson and recent Emmy hosts Michael Che and Colin Jost.
“We have a man who is President who is insane… You can’t go far enough with this idiot,” Baldwin said. He then added, “You can’t go far enough. You can’t go far enough.”
