Somewhere along the way, The Hangover 2 turned into a prestige picture, with Liam Neeson stepping in for Mel Gibson, and now Deadline reporting that Paul Giamatti has joined the cast—which is fitting, since Paul Giamatti sort of looks like a walking hangover a lot of the time. No word yet on what part he’ll be playing, but whatever it is, Giamatti will probably end up being way better than he needs to. If they’re going the “actors that look like hangovers” route, where’s the Philip Seymour Hoffman cameo?
