Peacock lets us Dig into its first look at new Amy Poehler-led comedy

Based on Kate Myers’ book, the 10-episode Dig centers on a team of four archaeologists, played by Poehler, Geraldine Viswanathan, Antonia Thomas, and Fina Strazza, who spend their summer at a dig site in Greece. They butt heads with an old-school British professor, Neville (Laurie), who falsely believes he’s their mentor and strives to uphold the profession’s traditions. Of course, the women stumble into an international conspiracy when they discover a rare artifact, and they have to figure out how to use this secret to their advantage. 

The show reunites Parks & Rec‘s Schur and Poehler together after NBC’s mockumentary ended in 2015. The ensemble also includes Kayvan Novak, Jon Pointing, and Bonita Friedericy.
