Earlier this year, Melissa Leo took a lot of flak for her Glamour Shot “Consider…” ads, intended to remind Oscar voters of her gritty turn in The Fighter by making Leo look like she just swept in after having a catfight with Joan Collins on the set of Dynasty. They were silly, they were phony, and they totally worked—so why can’t this parody version do the same in gettting Pee-wee Herman an Emmy nomination for his recent HBO special? And really, you should just be glad they didn’t choose to go with this one. [via Deadline]
