The A.V. Club already named PWR BTTM’s upcoming full-length one of our most anticipated albums of 2017, and today the band has finally announced that record and released a new song. Pageant will be out May 12 on Polyvinyl Records, and the duo of Ben Hopkins and Liv Bruce have released their first song from the album, “Big Beautiful Day.” The video is a glitter-coated dance party that matches the song’s effervescence, even as Ben Hopkins uses the lyrics to push back against anyone that’s ever told them that they can’t be the person they want to be. The band will also be on tour for a good chunk of 2017, and those dates can be found below.
