Clayface can see everything from the top of the box office
Meanwhile, Nathan Fielder's Elizabeth Holmes doc had an even bigger second weekend, adding another $19 million to its box office total.

After a pretty meh opening for Supergirl, DC’s reclaimed the top spot at the box office with Clayface, which opened to an estimated $24 million this weekend. This isn’t quite a runaway smash—the studio’s initial projections for the weekend were $25 million to $30 million, per The Hollywood Reporter—it’s a strong enough start for the picture, which added another $19 million overseas. Clayface only had a budget of $44 million, so while it did have a smaller opening than Supergirl, it’s already far closer to breaking even (and maybe even making a profit).
