Samiam returns with first album in five years, stream two exclusive new tracks

Samiam is one of the most celebrated exports form the early ’90s Bay Area punk scene—it was a fixture at 924 Gilman St., though the group was later banned for “selling out” by signing with Atlantic Records—but the band hasn’t put out a tremendous amount of new music in recent years. That will change Sept. 6 when Samiam releases Trips, its first record since 2006’s Whatever’s Got You Down. Check out exclusive streams of the songs “Over Now” and "80 West" from the record below.
