Sean Astin still hasn’t said die, vows he and Corey Feldman would do a Goonies sequel
In April, a TMZ reporter prodded The Goonies director Richard Donner with questions about a possible sequel, until Donner kind of admitted that he was working on one. That was enough to send the Internet into a whirlwind of incessant chatter about who would be on board for another movie. (Obviously, Josh Brolin hasn’t been up to much.) And now fans will be happy to learn that Sean Astin has verbally signed himself and Corey Feldman up for the maybe-sequel. While doing press for the ATX TV Festival, Astin told E! News he would love to be in the sequel, even though, as Donner already said, it would likely center on the original characters’ children.
