Senator Chuck Schumer spoofs Donald Trump’s sad need for approval

During James Comey’s hearing in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee last week, it became clear that one of the main sticking points between the former FBI director and the president was Comey’s refusal to kneel down in the Oval Office and swear his loyalty to King Trump. In an effort to avoid letting something like that happen again, Donald Trump actually took time out of a Cabinet meeting today to listen to all of his sycophants talk about how much they love him and how much of an honor it is to work for such a strong man who is clearly not insecure about anything and is definitely not some kind of unholy combination between a cartoon villain and a spoiled child.

Anywhere, here’s a clip of that stunningly ridiculous thing happening, complete with White House Chief Of Staff Reince Priebus thanking his orange deity “for the opportunity and the blessing” to serve his agenda:

Unsurprisingly, everybody in the world has caught on to how pathetic that whole show was, but U.S. Senator from New York Chuck Schumer quickly jumped at the chance to poke fun at Trump’s sad need for approval. Schumer and his staff shared a video of them sitting at a table, with a couple of people chiming in with comments about how great Schumer’s hair is before a third staffer interrupts them to quote Priebus’ weird comment.
