Introducing Endless Mode: A New Games & Anime Site from Paste

As we trudge through this year’s seemingly endless parade of SNL propaganda, encouraging us to think pleasant thoughts about the world’s least toxic work environment in celebration of the show’s 50th anniversary, the end is in sight. Tonight’s SNL50: The Anniversary Special caps the show’s latest coronation, reminding us, once again, that we’ll never be free of Lorne Michaels’ cultural behemoth. In its final push to lure viewers to either NBC or Peacock, Comcast Universal is emptying the night sky for even more stars, announcing that, yes, Miles Teller will be in attendance tonight.

In addition to Teller, which, truth be told, we already know was the cherry atop the SNL50 sundae (“Live from New York, it’s Sundae night”?), NBC also promises Alec Baldwin, Ana Gasteyer, Billy Crystal, Cher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Leslie Jones, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mike Myers, Rachel Dratch, and Rev. Al Sharpton. The recent spate of guest announcements comes in addition to the return of fan-favorite hosts and guests, like Adam Driver, Bad Bunny, Robert De Niro, Kim Kardashian, and notable Five-Timers Club members Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Martin Short, and Steve Martin. The show already announced previous cast members Adam Sandler, Amy Poehler, Chevy Chase, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Seth Myers, Will Ferrell, Will Forte, Tina Fey, and Pete Davidson. Curiously, Kenan Thompson is the only current cast member in the line-up. Does this mean no other cast members will attend? While we have to assume that the world’s funniest comedian, Peyton Manning, took James Austin Johnson’s invitation, there is only one way to find out.

Catch Miles Teller, Peyton Manning, and Kenan Thomson live from New York on a Sunday night at the SNL50: The Anniversary Special tonight at 8 P.M. on NBC and Peacock.
