Earlier this month, a 25-year-old digital media strategist named William Yu launched a site called Starring John Cho. The site, which is meant to protest the whitewashing of Asian characters in Hollywood movies, photoshops Harold & Kumar star and new Sulu John Cho into movie posters, making him the leading man. We have Cho replacing Chris Evans in the Age Of Ultron, as James Bond in Spectre, and as a romantic lead in Me Before You.

Last week, the site got a female counterpart in the form of #StarringConstanceWu—which is both a hashtag and a Twitter account. Like Starring John Cho, the account turns Fresh Off The Boat star Constance Wu into a leading lady on movie posters.
