Texts From Pawnee puts glorious Parks & Rec awkwardness on display
One of the best things about Parks & Recreation is how open its world has become. Over the last three seasons, we've learned about Leslie Knope, Tom Haverford, and Ron Swanson, sure, but also the other oddballs that make up Pawnee, Indiana. ("Perd Hapley? More like Turd Crapley.") Thus it sort of makes sense that someone would create Texts From Pawnee, a collection of things the town's citizens are saying, be it Ben Wyatt with something sweet about Leslie, or Jean-Ralphio with, "I made two strippers play 'rock-paper-scissors' to see who would give me a lap dance last night." It's another piece in the Pawnee puzzle, and as new episodes roll in—like this week's two-part finale—expect plenty more gems to appear.
