The A.V. Club is coming to Bumbershoot
Bumbershoot announced its full comedy and “words and ideas” lineup today, and we’re delighted to announce that The A.V. Club will appear at this year’s festival. WARNING: The first few rows may get words and/or ideas-ed.
The full line-up is below, and it’s pretty impressive. The newly announced performers include the writers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Alex Edelman, Alison Rosen, Mike Lawrence, Neil Hamburger, Kate Flannery’s Lampshades duo, Lizz Winstead’s Lady Parts Justice, and, well, you can read the poster for all of this information.
Where, when, and how can you see The A.V. Club at Bumbershoot? At the moment, all we can tell you is Labor Day weekend and Seattle. Full details are still being finalized, but here’s what we the Bumbershoot press release said:
Join A.V. Club staffers Joshua Alston, Marah Eakin, Katie Rife, Kyle Ryan, and John Teti for a freewheeling event that’s part talk show, part game show, but all very A.V. Club. They will talk about pop culture, play games with the audience, and generally geek out, along with a few surprises.
Tickets are available at bumbershoot.com (there are even payment plans!), and more details will follow once we have them. We hope to see you there.
